I have been a beachbody customer for 2 years now. Initially signing up for just BoD annual subscription and a few months later as a coach so I could try Shakeology at a reduced cost (discount coach). I love the fitness programs and I love that my coach (Tawnya) added me immediately to her Facebook accountability group where I regularly see lovely faces to keep everyone motivated. It is true that if you sign up for a bundle pack you will be autosubscribed to Shakeology and if you add a free month of nutrition + to their nutrition programme as well (£20 monthly). I have to disagree regarding the transparency of this, it is clearly stated in the small print. I've signed up to the special deals and managed to cancel them with no issues using Facebook although you have to be mindful that their customer service team is in the US so it's best to do this in the evening.
I really like Shakeology as a product however even with coach discount I find it very expensive. I actually mix beachbody with vivolife products now. If I was reviewing the programs alone I would give them 5 stars as there is so much choice and once you have picked one it is motivating knowing where you are with things. There are some free recipes on the platform to help with nutrition, and if your coach is good then they will post things on their groups. If not then there is a general BoD group on Facebook where you will find plenty of potential coaches. It you were to post wanting to be added to a group without having monthly subscriptions you will find plenty of people willing to help.

Whilst Iove BoD my two biggest criticisms is that it is a MLM company and that it is a US based company. I feel both of these things limit my ability to pay what I think that add-ons are worth (about 2/3 of what they charge). I wouldn't have any problems "coaching" if the price to those on the bottom (new customers) was cheaper but I have a fundamental problem with selling something that costs more than I can comfortably afford when there are other products out there that will do a good job as well (albeit with a shorter list of superfood ingredients). For this reason I will be a lifelong BoD customer but only dabble with their additional products on an annual basis - to get the best bundle deals annually you need to cancel your BoD autorenew as well so you can sign up for a new deal. I hope this helps people with a negative experience. The programs are fantastic and worth every penny. Like others here I have returned products and not found they refunded me instantly but a quick message to customer services with proof of postage and was refunded instantly with no questions asked.

Love the products. Love the company. My only complaint is that they are super expensive and therefore making it hard to lose weight with this company, because unless you have a super great job, you can not afford it. Other than that, love the company. The Shakeology tastes soooo amazing! Their Energize tastes amazing as well. Will continue to use when I'm not broke!
